Rahim Aliabadi ( listen ? / I PersianAudio file / audio sample رحیم علی‌آبادی, DMG Raḥīm ʿAlī-Ābādī ; * March 22, 1943 ) is an Iranian wrestler in the Greco-Roman style . He was a participant in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich .

Aliabadi won the silver medal in paper weight (48 kg) in Munich .

Aliabadi's other great international successes are a silver medal, which he achieved in this weight class at the World Wrestling Championships in Mar del Plata in 1969 , and winning a bronze medal in featherweight (52 kg) at the 1973 World Wrestling Championships in Tehran .

Rahim Aliabadi completed his career by winning the gold medal in paper weight at the 1974 Asian Games in Tehran.
