history

The bank emerged from several previous business combinations. The main changes are shown below.

In July 1990, the banking business of the Raiffeisen trading cooperative in Lindenberg was transferred to the Raiffeisen trading and banking cooperative eG Beeskow. In the same month, the legal separation of Raiffeisen Handels- und Bankgenossenschaft eG into the trading area (Raiffeisen-Handelsgenossenschaft eG) and the banking area (Raiffeisenbank eG) was completed.

At the beginning of November 1992, Raiffeisenbank eG Beeskow took over Raiffeisenbank Oderland eG Eisenhüttenstadt , which emerged from the Raiffeisen trading and banking cooperative Ziltendorf and the Eisenhüttenstadt branch of BLN.

In January 2001 the name was changed to Raiffeisen-Volksbank Oder-Spree eG based in Beeskow.

organs

The bank's board of directors consists of two members appointed by the supervisory board. The Board of Management runs the bank independently, represents it externally and conducts business.

The board of directors is elected by the general assembly. He supervises the management of the board and controls the business results. The Supervisory Board also reviews the annual financial statements and reports annually to the General Meeting on its activities.

The general assembly and the supervisory board are decisive bodies for the members' influence on the bank. According to the statutes, the general assembly is responsible for the participation of the members, in which each member has exactly one vote.
