history
On November 26, 1895, the Grosskarolinenfeld Loan Association was founded by the Protestant pastor Georg Hüfner and the citizens Franz-Xaver Schäfer, Johann Schäfer and Georg Baumann. On October 22, 1922, the savings and loan association Tattenhausen was founded in the Pronberger inn. The merger of the two associations to form the savings and loan association Tattenhausen took place on April 21, 1938.
In 1953 the company name was changed to Raiffeisenkasse Tattenhausen. In 1969 the name was finally changed to Raiffeisenbank Tattenhausen-Großkarolinenfeld eG, but the seat remained in the Tattenhausen district. As part of the regional reform in 1972, the independent municipality of Tattenhausen was incorporated into Großkarolinenfeld, so the bank is now only represented in one municipality. In 1984 the bank building in Großkarolinenfeld was rebuilt and the headquarters relocated to Großkarolinenfeld. In 1993 the warehouse in Tattenhausen was closed. In 1995 the bank celebrated its 100th anniversary. At the end of the 2017 financial year, the bank exceeded the EUR 100 million balance sheet total for the first time.
