Taylor Paur (born September 23, 1988 in San Clemente , California ) is a professional American poker player . The former online poker - world number one is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Poker career

On-line

Paur played online from November 2007 to May 2016 under the nicknames tramp $ d0pray ( PokerStars ) , ambiguosity ( Full Tilt Poker ) , blatantdove ( 888poker ) , tazed1spurr (Absolute Poker) and gr8pkrplaya ( UltimateBet ) . Its online poker tournament earnings are in excess of five million US dollars . From June 23 to July 6, 2010, Paur was first for two weeks in first place in the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide. He held the position for a total of nine weeks, most recently in March 2011. At the World Series of Poker 2019 , Paur won an online tournament and secured around $ 150,000 and a bracelet .

At the beginning of January 2009, Paur finished 110th in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures (PCA) main event in the Bahamas for $ 15,000 in prize money. At the end of February 2010, he was 37th at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Los Angeles and received almost $ 35,000. In June 2010 Paur was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas and came in the money in a tournament of the variant No Limit Hold'em . At the 2011 WSOP , he finished fifth in the No Limit Hold'em Six Handed Championship for around $ 200,000 in prize money. In July 2012 , Paur reached the sixth day of the tournament at the WSOP main event , where he was eliminated in 33rd place for more than $ 235,000 in prize money. At the 2013 WSOP , he won a No Limit Hold'em tournament and secured a prize money of around $ 340,000 and a bracelet . In March 2015, Paur won the WPT Main Event in San José and received his highest prize money to date of more than $ 1.2 million. A few days later, he was again at the final table of a WPT main event and finished third in Lincoln for just under $ 115,000. In November and December 2015, Paur won the $ 25,000 Aria High Roller at the Aria Resort & Casino once , securing prize money of more than $ 500,000. In mid-January 2016, he also won a side event of the PCA and received a prize of just under 185,000 dollars. In December 2016, Paur finished eighth in the WPT Main Event at the Bellagio Hotel and received over $ 150,000 in prize money. At the 2018 WSOP , he finished fourth in the marathon event for around $ 210,000.

Overall, Paur has earned more than $ 4.5 million playing poker in live tournaments.
