Kevin Saul (born May 25, 1980 in Warrenville , Illinois ) is a professional American poker player .

Poker career

Saul plays online under the nicknames BeL0WaB0Ve ( PokerStars and UltimateBet ) , GetPWN3D ( Full Tilt Poker ) and BeLOWaBOVe (Absolute Poker) . For seven consecutive weeks from December 13, 2006 to January 30, 2007, he was number one in the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide.

In early November 2006, Saul took second place at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket and received prize money of around 100,000 US dollars . In June 2007 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in the money in two tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant . In mid-July 2007, Saul won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas and secured a prize money of more than 1.3 million dollars. In the same place he finished second in the Five Diamond World Poker Classic in December 2007 for just under $ 180,000. In early January 2009, Saul finished eighth at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures Main Event in the Bahamas , for which he received $ 234,000 in prize money.
