He uses the nicknames 1_conor_b_1 ( PokerStars ) , LarryErbs ( partypoker , there formerly ADRIEN_BRODY and kgroqigmqtbmqom) , HONEYDETECTED (GGPoker) and grandma1954 ( 888poker ) ; on Natural8 he also plays under his real name. His online tournament revenues are more than 14 million US dollars , making him one of the most successful online tournament players . The majority of this prize money of almost 8.5 million US dollars was won by Beresford on PokerStars , where he u. a. once won the Sunday Million , three tournaments of the Spring Championship of Online Poker and numerous high roller events. Since May 16, 2020, for 16 weeks now, Beresford has been number one in the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide.

Beresford received his first live prize money in mid-May 2012 for winning a bounty tournament of the No Limit Hold'em variant of the UK & Ireland Poker Tour in Dublin , which was awarded more than 4,000 euros . In October 2015, he took twelfth place at the main event of the World Series of Poker Europe, which was played in Berlin, and was endowed with 46,000 euros. In July 2016 , Beresford was also successful for the first time in the main tournament series of the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in the money at the main event . At the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Monte-Carlo at the beginning of May 2017, he finished fourth and first at side events, which brought him prize money of almost 135,000 euros. In December 2017, he finished fifth at the EPT National High Roller in Prague and secured 63,300 euros. When PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas achieved Beresford in January 2019 three cashes with prize money of nearly 150,000 US dollars . At the beginning of July 2019, he reached the final table at the partypoker Millions Vegas at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and finished the tournament in sixth place, worth $ 170,000.
