World Series of Poker 2016

The World Series of Poker 2016 was the 47th edition of the Poker World Championship and took place on May 31, 2016 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas . It ended with the final table of the Main Event , which was played from October 30th to November 1st, 2016.

Tournaments

structure

A total of 69 poker tournaments in the variants Texas - and Omaha Hold'em , Seven Card Stud , Razz , 2-7 Triple Draw as well as the mixed variants HORSE and 8-Game were on the tournament schedule. An event was played online . The buy-in was 565 to 111,111 US dollars . For a tournament victory, the players received a bracelet in addition to the prize money . Benny Glaser , Ian Johns and Jason Mercier won two bracelets ; Kristen Bicknell , Courtney Kennedy and Safiya Umerova were the only women to succeed.
