Ian Patrick Johns (born November 25, 1984 in Seattle , Washington ) is a professional American poker player . He is three-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Poker career

Career

Johns has been taking part in prestigious live tournaments since 2006 .

Johns was the middle of July 2006 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino successfully and won a tournament of variant Limit Hold'em . For this he received a bracelet and a prize of almost 300,000 US dollars . In April 2007 he finished 30th in the Main Event of the World Poker Tour at the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas for more than 90,000 US dollars. In the following years, John's was a regular at the WSOP and, except in 2010, always made it to the money at least once. At the 2016 WSOP , he won two events within eleven days, earning him more than $ 500,000 in prize money and two additional bracelets . In early July 2017, Johns finished tenth in the Poker Player's Championship at the 2017 WSOP and received around $ 125,000 in prize money.

In total, he has earned more than $ 1.5 million in poker playing live tournaments.
