The World Series of Poker 2020 is set to be the 51st edition of the Poker World Championship. It was originally scheduled to take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from May 26 to July 15, 2020 , but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic . Instead, the World Series of Poker Online has been played since July 1, 2020 .

Tournaments

structure

In April 2020, the tournament series was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic . There are a total of 101 poker tournaments in the variants No-Limit Hold'em (NLH), Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), Seven Card Stud , Razz , 2-7 Lowball Draw as well as the mixed variants HORSE , 8-Game and 9-Game on the tournament schedule. 14 events are played online . The buy-in is 400 to 250,000 US dollars . In addition to the prize money, players receive a bracelet for winning a tournament .
