Max Silver (born July 7, 1990 in London ) is a professional British poker player from England .

Silver is married and has a father of two. He lives in Dublin .

Poker career

Silver plays on the online poker platform PokerStars under the nickname goodeh99 . Since 2010 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

In mid-October 2010 Silver won the main event of the UK & Ireland Poker Tour in Dublin and secured a prize money of 72,000 euros . For around three weeks he also won a side event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in London and received prize money equivalent to around 130,000 US dollars . Mid October 2011 Silver two final tables in the in Cannes discharged World Series of Poker Europe and collected prize money of almost 180,000 euros. In June 2012 he was also successful for the first time in the main tournament series of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and cashed in a tournament in the No Limit Hold'em variant . In mid-December 2013, Silver sat at the final table of the EPT Main Event in Prague and took sixth place, which was paid for with more than 160,000 euros. A month later he came in Main Event of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas to the final table and finished ninth for around 135,000 US dollars. Silver finished six times in the money at the 2014 WSOP and finished third in a shootout event for over $ 270,000 in prize money. On May 30, 2015, he won the $ 25,000 Aria High Roller at Aria Resort & Casino for a prize of more than $ 430,000. At the beginning of May 2016, Silver finished seventh at the EPT High Roller in Monte-Carlo and received around 200,000 euros. At the 2016 WSOP , he reached the sixth day of the main event , finishing in 33rd place for more than $ 215,000. With a total of ten cashes and prize money of more than 350,000 US dollars, Silver came third in the WSOP Player of the Year ranking behind Paul Volpe and Jason Mercier . The following year, Silver won the 53rd event of the 2017 WSOP and secured a bracelet and a prize of around $ 170,000. At the beginning of September 2018 he prevailed at the EPT high roller in Barcelona and received his highest prize money to date of 600,000 euros due to a deal with two other players.

In total, Silver has earned just under $ 5 million from poker in live tournaments. At the beginning of 2016 he launched the poker app SnapShove , which reproduces the optimal behavior of a player with few chips, who should only decide between all-in and fold .
