Martin Kabrhel (* 1983 ) is a professional Czech poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Career

Kabrhel plays online under the nicknames gomir ( PokerStars ) and Martin Kabrhel ( Full Tilt Poker ) . Since 2009 he has also been taking part in renowned live tournaments. Kabrhel polarizes at the poker table through his speech play .

Kabrhel won in mid-October 2009, the European Poker Championship the variant No-Limit Hold'em in the Poker Championship in Lower Austria's Baden and received a prize money of more than 190,000 euros . At the end of January 2010 he won the high roller event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Deauville, France , and secured prize money of 250,000 euros. In June 2010 , Kabrhel was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in the money in two tournaments. At the end of April 2012, he finished second at an EPT side event in Monte-Carlo for 142,300 euros. At the beginning of November 2015, Kabrhel took second place in the Super High Roller of the WSOP circuit tournament in King's Casino in Rozvadov and received over 150,000 euros for it. At the end of April 2017, he sat at the final table of the EPT Super High Roller in Monte-Carlo and finished the tournament in seventh place, which was paid for with more than 300,000 euros. In May and June 2017, Kabrhel cashed three times in poker tournaments at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas , winning more than $ 450,000 in prize money . At the World Series of Poker Europe , which was played in Rozvadov in October and November 2017, he won the Super Turbo Bounty and received a prize of over 50,000 euros as well as his first bracelet . A few days later, Kabrhel was eighth in the series' High Roller for One Drop, which cost € 111,111 for more than € 360,000 in prize money. A year later, he won the € 100,000 Super High Roller of the World Series of Poker Europe 2018 and received his second bracelet as well as his highest prize money by far of more than € 2.5 million. After this success, Kabrhel played a high roller event initiated by Leon Tsoukernik with a buy-in of 100,000 euros and came second for more than 770,000 euros.

In total, Kabrhel has earned more than eight million dollars with poker in live tournaments, making him the most successful Czech poker player .
