Alexander Kostritsyn ( Russian Александр Кострицын ; English transcription Alexander Kostritsyn ; * 1986 in Moscow ) is a professional Russian poker player .

Poker career

Kostrizyn occurs primarily as a player of online - cash games in appearance and is in this area as one of the best players in the world. Under the nicknames joiso ( PokerStars ) and PostflopAction ( Full Tilt Poker ) he made a profit of more than 8.5 million US dollars with cash games until March 2018 , where he was named after Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky and Jens "Jeans89" on PokerStars Kyllönen is the third most successful player ever. There he also secured a title at the World Championship of Online Poker in September 2010 . Since 2006 Kostrizyn has also occasionally taken part in renowned live tournaments .

Kostrizyn won the main event of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne in mid-January 2008 and secured a prize of 1.65 million Australian dollars . In 2008 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in six tournaments in the money. He received his highest prize money of more than 160,000 US dollars for his third place in the World Championship of the Seven Card Stud variant . At the 2010 WSOP , he finished tenth in the Poker Player's Championship , reached the semifinals of the Heads-Up Championship , finishing finally the 52nd place in the main event , which he earned prize money of around 540,000 US dollars. In mid-January 2011, Kostrizyn won the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller in the Bahamas and secured the grand prize of over $ 260,000. His last live cash placement to date was in June 2018 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
