Kevin John MacPhee (born September 19, 1980 in Coeur d'Alene , Idaho ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Personal

MacPhee has two older brothers and grew up with them in Coeur d'Alene . He graduated from the University of Idaho . MacPhee was dating the poker player Liv Boeree .

Poker career

Career

MacPhee came to poker as a result of the moneymaker boom in 2003 . He has been playing online since August 2006 under the nicknames ImaLuckSack ( PokerStars , Americas Cardroom , 888poker and WSOP NV) , Wu_Wizard ( Full Tilt Poker , UltimateBet , Bodog and bwin ) , ImaMark ( partypoker ) and ImaLuckySac (Absolute Poker) . He has a total online tournament earnings of more than 7.5 million dollars have. Since 2006 he can also be seen regularly at renowned live tournaments .

In June 2008 MacPhee was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and was able to place twice in the money. At the beginning of March 2010 he won the Main Event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Berlin and secured one million euros in prize money. In October 2014, he came back to the final table at the EPT Main Event and finished in second place behind Sebastian Pauli in London for the equivalent of more than $ 800,000. In the WSOP 2015 MacPhee won a tournament in the variant No-Limit Hold'em and almost 500,000 dollars in prize money and his first bracelet . During the main tournament series, he reached one more final table and placed seven times in the money. At the World Series of Poker Europe , which was held in Berlin in October 2015 , MacPhee reached the money twice and then won the main event . This earned him his second bracelet and a prize money of 883,000 euros. Because of these achievements, he finished fourth in the WSOP Player of the Year ranking.

Overall, MacPhee has earned almost six million dollars playing poker in live tournaments. From April to November 2016 he played as part of the New York Rounders in the Global Poker League , but missed the playoffs with his team.
