Mickey Dinsen Petersen (born September 12, 1989 in Copenhagen ) is a professional Danish poker player .

Personal

Petersen comes from Espergærde on Zealand . He played the trading card game Magic: The Gathering and came through to poker . Petersen lives in London .

Poker career

Before starting his studies, Petersen took a year off and honed his poker skills during this time. He developed on the PokerStars platform under the nickname mement_mori into one of the best online poker tournament players and in 2010 was now number two in the PocketFives ranking, which lists the best online poker tournament players worldwide. He was part of Team PokerStars' Team Pro Online until April 2017 .

Since 2009 Petersen has also regularly participated in renowned live tournaments . In February 2012 he won the main event of the European Poker Tour in Copenhagen and received a prize money equivalent to just under 450,000 US dollars . In September 2012, he won the English Poker Open in London with a grand prize of around $ 125,000. Petersen achieved his last live cash placement to date in October 2015.

In total, Petersen earned almost $ 1.5 million in poker in live tournaments.
