Noah Pierre Boeken (born January 6, 1981 in Amsterdam ) is a professional Dutch poker player .

Career

Boeken started out as a Magic player and won the European Championship in this card game in 2000. Together with David Williams he came to poker through Marcel Lüske .

His first major success came in 2003 Boeken with fourth place for a 200 euro expensive tournament variant No Limit Hold'em as part of the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam. In October 2004, he made the final table of the European Poker Tour in London, finishing the tournament in sixth place for £ 16,800 . In January 2005, he won the Main Event of the EPT in Copenhagen after Ram Vaswani in heads-up beat. Boeken received a prize of over one million Danish kroner for this, at the time the equivalent of almost 200,000 dollars . In June 2005 he won the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas for the first time and cashed in two tournaments in No Limit Hold'em . Boeken recorded his biggest WSOP win in early July 2009 when he finished 96th in the main event for almost $ 50,000. In mid-November 2013 he won the main event of the Master Classics of Poker and received over 300,000 euros, his highest prize money to date. In November 2016, Boeken won the high roller event of the Master Classics and secured over 200,000 euros.

Overall, Boeken has made over two million dollars in poker in live tournaments. Starting in February 2007, he was a representative for PokerStars for some time .
