Davidi Jacob Kitai (born September 28, 1979 in Antwerp ) is a professional Belgian poker player . He is a three-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker and won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour and the Main Event of the European Poker Tour once . He is one of nine poker players who have completed the so-called Triple Crown .

Kitai lives in Brussels . He has been married since September 2017 and had a daughter in August 2018.
Poker career
Career
Kitai started playing prestigious live tournaments in 2006. He is sponsored by the online poker platform Winamax , where he plays under the nickname Kitbul .
In July 2007 , Kitai was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and reached the money ranks in the main event . A year later he won at the 2008 WSOP tournament of the variant Pot Limit Hold'em and first Belgian player, a bracelet . Kitai secured his biggest prize money to date in September 2008 with third place at the main event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Barcelona , which brought him 455,000 euros . In February 2011, he won the Celebrity Invitational of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Los Angeles and received a prize of 100,000 US dollars . At the EPT Berlin Main Event , Kitai secured the title in mid-April 2012 and won the main prize of 712,000 euros. With his victory, he became the fifth player to win tournament titles in all three major tournament series WSOP, WPT and EPT. This feat is known as the Triple Crown and has now been achieved by nine poker players. Kitai secured his second bracelet at the 2013 WSOP and won a tournament with a prize money of around $ 225,000. At the beginning of May 2014, he came third at the EPT High Roller in Monte-Carlo for prize money of 526,400 euros. Kitai won another event at the World Series of Poker in June 2014 and secured his third bracelet and over $ 500,000 by winning a tournament in No Limit Hold'em . In early November 2015, Kitai played at the Asia Championship of Poker in Macau and reached the final table in two tournaments for prize money equivalent to more than $ 500,000. At the World Series of Poker Europe played out in Berlin at the end of October 2015 , Kitai took second place behind Jonathan Duhamel at the high roller event for almost 350,000 euros in prize money. At the 2016 WSOP , Kitai finished runner-up in the Six Handed No Limit Hold'em World Championship for over $ 400,000. In April 2018 he won a € 25k Super High Roller from the partypoker Millions in Barcelona with a prize money of € 700,000 and reached the final table of the main event just a few days later . Kitai finished seventh there for a further 325,000 euros in prize money.
Overall, Kitai has earned more than 10 million US dollars with poker in live tournaments , making him the most successful Belgian poker player . From April to November 2016 he played as part of the Paris Aviators in the Global Poker League , but missed the playoffs with his team.
