Poker career
Williams lives in Atlanta . He played online from July 2006 to July 2011 under the nicknames yellowsub86 ( PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker ) , YelloSub86 ( UltimateBet ) , YellowSub (Absolute Poker and Bodog) and theboy222 (Cake Poker) . Williams has earned more than $ 1 million in online tournaments during this period .
In March 2006 he played his first major live tournament , the main event of the European Poker Tour in Monte-Carlo , after he had previously qualified for it on the PokerStars platform . There Williams prevailed against 297 other players and secured a prize of 900,000 euros . In June 2008 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and cashed three times, receiving by far his largest prize money of around $ 400,000 for the second Place in a tournament in the No Limit Hold'em variant . At the 2010 WSOP , he again reached a final table and finished the tournament behind Jason DeWitt and Sam Trickett in third place for just under $ 330,000. In mid-September 2012, Williams finished eighth at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour in Atlantic City for just under $ 100,000 in prize money.
