Aljaksej Bojka ( Belarusian Аляксей Бойка ; English transcription Aliaksei Boika ; * 1987 or 1988 in Minsk ) is a professional Belarusian poker player .
Poker career
Bojka plays on the online poker platform PokerStars under the nickname ale6ka and can be found at GGPoker as BladeRunner1 . Since 2010 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .
Bojka secured his first big win at the end of August 2015 as part of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Barcelona . There he took fifth place in the high roller tournament and received prize money of around 265,000 euros . In October 2016 he won the EPT Main Event in Malta . For this he prevailed against 467 other players and received a bonus of more than 350,000 euros. In December 2016, Bojka reached the final table at an event on the Eureka Poker Tour in Prague and finished the tournament in fourth place for just under 220,000 euros. At the beginning of July 2017 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and reached the money ranks in three tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant . In mid- 2018 , Bojka sat at his first WSOP final table and finished fourth in a turbo tournament for more than $ 140,000 in prize money.
Overall, Bojka has earned at least more than 1.5 million US dollars with poker in live tournaments.
