Dominik Miciej Pańka (born March 27, 1991 ) is a professional Polish poker player .

Poker career

Pańka comes from Brześć Kujawski . He has been playing online since November 2009 under the nicknames gardze_wami ( PokerStars and 888poker ) , odom_pl ( Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.FR) and odompl ( partypoker ) . Its online poker tournament earnings are just under 2.5 million US dollars , with the majority of more than two million dollars on PokerStars was recovered. Since 2012 Pańka has also participated in prestigious live tournaments .

In January 2014 Pańka won the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures Main Event in the Bahamas , which was played as part of the European Poker Tour (EPT). For this he prevailed against 1,030 other players and received a prize of more than 1.4 million US dollars. He also won the EPT High Roller in Deauville for almost a month and secured prize money of 272,000 euros . At the end of August 2014, Pańka took eleventh place at the EPT Main Event in Barcelona, endowed with just under 80,000 euros. At the end of May 2015, he reached the final table of the EPT Main Event again and came third on Malta for just under 350,000 euros. In March 2017 Pańka won the high roller of the Merit Poker Western Tournament in Cyprus with a prize money of around 115,000 dollars. In July 2017 he was the first time in the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and died in a tournament variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. At the end of September 2018, Pańka took third place in the high roller of the Merit Gangsters Poker Cup in Cyprus, which was paid for just under 130,000 dollars.

In total, Pańka has earned more than three million dollars with poker in live tournaments, making him the second most successful Polish poker player after Dzmitry Urbanovich .
