William Carter Phillips (born October 1, 1988 in Richmond , Virginia ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Career

Phillips played online under the nicknames bdybldngpkr ( PokerStars ) and BdyBldngpkrplyr ( Full Tilt Poker ) from August 2007 to July 2014 . With tournament poker online, he has more than two million US dollars earned. Since 2009 he has also been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

Phillips won the Main Event of the European Poker Tour in Barcelona in early September 2009 . For this he prevailed against 427 other players and received € 850,000 in prize money. In June 2010 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and won a tournament in Six Handed No Limit Hold'em . For this achievement he received a bracelet and almost $ 500,000 in prize money. At the 2012 WSOP , Phillips secured another bracelet with around $ 650,000 in prize money.

Overall, Phillips has made over $ 2.5 million in poker playing live tournaments.
