Arseni Karmatski ( Russian Арсений Карматский ; English transcription Arseniy Karmatskiy ; also Arsenii Karmatckii ; * 1990 or 1991 ) is a professional Russian poker player .

Poker career

Karmatski has been playing on various online poker platforms under the nickname josef_shvejk and as kastaban at GGPoker since December 2012 . He has more than $ 5 million in online tournament revenue . In the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players in the world, the Russian was temporarily in fourth place in 2018. Since 2014 Karmatski has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

In April 2017, Karmatski finished third at the main event of the WSOP International Circuit in Cannes and received prize money of almost 60,000 euros .
