Sebastian Pauli (born October 3, 1989 ) is a professional German poker player .

Poker career

Pauli comes from Dortmund and lives in Bochum . After playing poker seriously for five years , he began participating in prestigious live tournaments in 2013 .

In April 2013 Pauli was successful at the main event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) for the first time and finished 67th in Berlin for 12,000 euros in prize money. Two months later, he flew to Las Vegas for the 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) . There he came to the final table in a tournament of the Seven Card Razz variant in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and also cashed in a Hold'em event. At the 2014 WSOP , Pauli finished three times in the money. In mid-October 2014, he won the EPT Main Event in London with a prize money equivalent to more than 800,000 US dollars . At the 2015 WSOP he was successful four times, including a. he finished 771st place in the main event .

All in all, Pauli has earned more than a million dollars with poker in live tournaments. He plays online on PokerStars under the nickname Pauli elTopo .
