Jasper Meijer van Putten (* 1987 ) is a professional Dutch poker player .

Poker career

Meijer comes from Alkmaar and lives in Eindhoven . He has participated in renowned live tournaments since 2014 .

In mid-May 2016, Meijer took eleventh place at the main event of the World Poker Tour in Amsterdam for prize money of almost 15,000 euros . In December 2016 he won the main event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Prague and received a prize of around 700,000 euros due to a deal with Márton Czuczor . In mid-December 2017, Meijer won the second event of the PokerStars Championship in Prague with a prize money of 150,000 euros. A year later, he reached two final tables at the EPT in Prague and secured prize money of around 200,000 euros. In July 2019 , Meijer was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished in 126th place in the main event, worth almost 60,000 US dollars . In December 2019 he finished third at the national EPT Prague event and received over 200,000 euros due to a deal with two other players.

Overall, Meijer has earned more than $ 1.5 million in poker in live tournaments.
