Márton Czuczor (born December 8, 1989 ) is a professional Hungarian poker player .

Czuczor studied business informatics at Corvinus University Budapest . He lives in Budapest .

Poker career

Czuczor has been playing online since May 2009 under the nicknames noirduck ( PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker ) , WorldIsOurs ( 888poker and PokerStars.FR) , Grunwalsk1 ( partypoker ) , Allée Guru (PokerStars.ES) and LeCanardNoir ( Winamax ) . He has prize money of more than 3.5 million US dollars earned, with the majority of nearly 2.5 million dollars PokerStars was recovered. Since 2010, Czuczor has also been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

At the beginning of September 2010, Czuczor finished eleventh at the main event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Vilamoura and received more than 20,000 euros in prize money. In 2011 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in the money in two tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant , u. a. he finished 127th in the main event . At the beginning of September 2013 he finished second at an EPT event in Barcelona and secured 105,000 euros through a deal . In mid-December 2016, Czuczor took second place at the EPT main event in Prague after losing heads-up to the Dutchman Jasper Meijer , which brought him 630,000 euros due to a deal. In early July 2017, Czuczor finished fourth in a 2017 WSOP tournament for around $ 185,000. At the end of August 2018, he also took fourth place in the National High Roller at EPT Barcelona and secured over 150,000 euros. At the beginning of May 2019 he placed third at the EPT High Roller in Monte-Carlo for more than 360,000 euros. At the beginning of September 2019, Czuczor finished second at the EPT Main Event in Barcelona and received his highest prize money to date of more than 1.2 million euros due to a deal with the Swede Simon Brändström .

Overall, Czuczor has earned more than 3.5 million dollars with poker in live tournaments, making him the second most successful Hungarian poker player after Norbert Szécsi .
