Reinkemeier grew up as the son of two lawyers in Cuxhaven . He lives in London .

Poker career

Career

Reinke Meier began January 2006 Poker and paid 150 dollars on a online poker room one. He plays on PokerStars under the nickname PokerNoob999 . Since 2007 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

In 2007 Reinkemeier won the Hoyensyburg Open in Dortmund , a side tournament of the European Poker Tour (EPT), and with it a prize of 30,500 euros . In December 2007 he was successful for the first time at the EPT main event and placed 43rd in Prague for 7600 euros. Reinkemeier caused a stir in September 2009 when he won a hand against Roland De Wolfe at the EPT in Barcelona after a lengthy discussion with a bluff call. At the end of April 2010, Reinkemeier won the EPT high roller event in Monte-Carlo for 956,000 euros. In November 2011 he took part in the IFP Nations Cup for Germany with the German Poker Sports Association . With the team that u. a. consisted of players like Moritz Kranich , Sandra Naujoks or Sebastian Ruthenberg under the direction of Stephan Kalhamer , Reinkemeier won the title. At the end of April 2012, Reinkemeier finished second behind Justin Bonomo at the EPT Super High Roller in Monte-Carlo for more than one million euros. In early February 2013, he finished second behind Sam Trickett in the A $ 250,000 Challenge of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne and received 1.25 million Australian dollars . At the beginning of October 2013, Reinkemeier also finished second behind his German colleague Martin Finger at the EPT Super High Roller in London and thus secured prize money of almost 600,000 British pounds , at that time the equivalent of more than 950,000 US dollars. In the summer of 2014 , as in 2012 , Reinkemeier took part in the Big One for One Drop of the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas , which requires a buy-in of one million US dollars.
