The following list sorts various cities around the world according to their property prices. The property price refers to the cost per square meter for an average apartment in the city ​​center . All figures come from the Numbeo website and are valid for mid-2018. The figures are based on surveys from the last 18 months.

In addition, the income to price ration is given. This ratio shows how many years an average city worker would have to work to buy an apartment in the city center. The information on wages and house prices are also determined via surveys. This type of measurement shows how affordable property prices are for the local population.
