Rainer Schandry

Rainer Schandry (born June 13, 1944 in Jitschin ) was Professor of Biological Psychology at the University of Munich .

Career

Abitur in 1963 in Königstein im Taunus ( Taunusgymnasium Königstein ). Studied physics and psychology in Saarbrücken , Munich and Tübingen . Dr. rer. soc. 1978 at the University of Tübingen , Dr. phil. habil. 1986 at the LMU in Munich. 1987 Professor at the Department of Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the LMU habilitation award Schandry has been retired since 2009 , but teaches with a teaching position at the LMU.

Research priorities

With his textbooks "Biological Psychology" and "Psychophysiology", he is one of the best-known representatives of scientifically oriented psychology in Germany.
