Rainer Schulz

Rainer Schulz (born November 14, 1958 in Schleswig ) is a German political official ( SPD ). He joined in 2017 the State Council of the Agency for Schools and Vocational Training in Hamburg .

Life

Schulz completed a degree in business administration, educational science, sports science and pedagogy for the blind, which he completed as a business teacher with the first state examination at the University of Hamburg . After studying further training in Kiel and doing preparatory work for teaching at vocational schools (commercial teaching) in Hamburg in 1985/86, he passed the second state examination.

From 1987, Schulz was a teacher working at the State Trade School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Hamburg, whose leader he from 1992 to 1997th Then from 1997 to 2004 he took over the school management of the State Technical School for Social Pedagogy I. From 2004 to 2008 Schulz worked as a high school councilor at the State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development . As Senate Director, he was managing director of the Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education and Training (HIBB) from 2008 to 2016 . In this function he represented Hamburg at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) and at the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs .

On January 1, 2017, Schulz succeeded Michael Voges as State Councilor for the Schools and Vocational Training Authority.

Rainer Schulz is married and has grown-up children.
