Rajah Buayan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Maguindanao .
Rajah Buayan was established by the Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 166 of October 28, 2002, which was ratified in a referendum on September 4, 2004. The eleven barangays Rajah Buayans previously belonged to the municipality of Sultan sa Barongis .
