Northern kabuntalan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Maguindanao . According to the census of August 1, 2015, it has 25,232 inhabitants.
It was formed from eleven barangays in the Kabuntalan municipality through the passage of the Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 205 , which was ratified by a referendum on December 30, 2006.
