Rakel Dögg Bragadóttir (born May 24, 1986 ) is a former Icelandic handball player .

Rakel Dögg initially played for the Icelandic club UMF Stjarnan . With Stjarnan she won the championship in 2007 and 2008 and the cup in 2005 and 2008. In the summer of 2008, the backcourt player moved to the Danish first division club KIF Vejen . With KIF she was in the cup final in the same year, but failed there at Viborg HK . Since she got only a small share of the game in Kolding, she joined the Norwegian first division club Levanger HK in November 2009 . In the summer of 2012 she returned to UMF Stjarnan. In January 2014, she ended her career due to a head injury. In the 2014/15 season she worked as an assistant coach for the UMF Stjarnan's women's team. At the beginning of 2016, Rakel Dögg Bragadóttir decided to start playing handball again and then played for UMF Stjarnan. Since the 2018/19 season she has been working again as an assistant trainer at UMF Stjarnan.

Rakel Dögg made 102 international appearances for Iceland . With the Icelandic national team, she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in 2010 .
