Ralf Günther (writer)
Ralf Günther (born September 21, 1967 in Cologne ) is a German writer and screenwriter . He is best known for historical novels and children's books.
biography
Ralf Günther studied theater, film and television studies at the University of Cologne from 1989 to 1995 , as well as German and pedagogy . He financed his studies through various jobs. During this time he began to write his first texts for television and radio. From 1990 on he worked as a writer for television (e.g. WDR ), for the stage and print media and for radio .
Ralf Günther has been a freelance writer since 1993. He writes crime novels, cabaret texts, radio plays as well as non-fiction and children's books. He became known through his successful historical novels "Der Leibarzt" and "Die Pestburg".
Günther moved with his family to Dresden in 1993 and later to Hamburg . Günther now lives separated from his wife. He lives in Bad Gottleuba.
