Ralf Rambow
Ralf Rambow (born August 29, 1964 ) was a football player in the area of the GDR Football Association and the German Football Association . He only played first division football with BSG Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt in the GDR league .
Athletic career
Rambow began his football career as a 12-year-old in the northeast of the GDR , at the company sports community (BSG) Demminer Verkehrsbetriebe . From 1981 to 1984 he played for BSG Lok / Armaturen Prenzlau and Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt. For the 1984/85 season Rambow was included in the GDR league team of Eisenhüttenstadt. There he played until May 1988, after which he had to do his military service, which he did with the army football club FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder)performed. For the seasons 1988/89 and 1989/90 he was part of the squad of FC Vorwärts, which also played in the GDR league during this time after being relegated in 1988. By April 1990, Rambow completed 28 point games for FC forward, in which he scored seven goals. From May 1990 he played again for BSG Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt, which had meanwhile been promoted to the GDR league . There he played the remaining four point games, initially twice as a substitute, then as a striker from the start. Eisenhüttenstadt played again in the league in 1990/91. Rambow was there from the start and now played 20 of the 26 point games played as a midfielder. In addition to the determination of the last GDR soccer champions after the dissolution of the GDR soccer association due to the fall of the German Revolution, this season served to qualify for the DFB leagues. The Eisenhüttenstädter FC Stahl , which was reorganized during the season, could only qualify for the third-class amateur league , but reached the final final of the GDR soccer cup . There the steel team lost with Rambow as a right midfielder with 0: 1 against Hansa Rostock.
Then Rambow played two seasons for FC Berlin from 1991 to 1993 in what was then the third-rate amateur league Northeast. In 1993 he moved to 1. FC Union Berlin , with whom he qualified for the new Regionalliga Nordost a year later . From 1995 to 1997 Rambow returned to the now regional league club Eisenhüttenstädter FC Stahl. Then he only played with lower-class Berlin clubs: Adlershofer BC (1997-2003), Borussia Friedrichsfelde (2003) and again Adlershofer BC (2004). In the summer of 2004 Rambow joined the Berlin state division TSV Oranke, which he later coached. Most recently he played there in the senior team.
