Ramón Colillas (* 1988 ) is a professional Spanish poker player . He won the PokerStars Players Championship in 2019 .

Colillas graduated from the Faculty of Sciences for Physical Activity and Sport. He lives in Barcelona .

Poker career

Colillas became a professional poker player at the age of 24. He won his first live prize money in August 2015 at the main event of the Estrellas Poker Tour in Barcelona . In January 2019, he played the PokerStars Players Championship in the Bahamas . As the leader of the Campeonato de España de Poker ranking, Colillas had received a so-called “Platinum Pass” in the run-up to the tournament , which allowed participation in the event , which actually cost 25,000 US dollars, and also covered travel and hotel expenses. After five days of the tournament, he prevailed heads-up against French Julien Martini on January 10, 2019 and secured a prize of 5.1 million US dollars. Colillas joined Team PokerStars in mid-February 2019 . In June 2019 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came in the money in four tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant .
