Ramazan Kahya (born September 16, 1984 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Kahya was born in Bornova , a district of the western Turkish metropolis of Izmir, and started playing club football here in 1997 in the youth department of Çamdibigücü. In 2002 he moved on to the youth of Altay Izmir . Here he was accepted into the professional squad in 2002 and played for the professional team until the summer of 2005. In the summer of 2005 he moved to the first division team Malatyaspor . Here he only played until the next winter break and was at Sakaryaspor for the second half of the season . At the end of the season he then returned to Malatyaspor. For this club, which had missed relegation in the meantime, he then played the following two and a half seasons and then moved on to the first division club Ankaraspor .

For the 2009/10 season he moved to the second division Konyaspor . With this club he was the end of the season play-off winner of the TFF 1st Lig and rose to the Süper Lig . After promotion, he stayed at Konyaspor for half a season and then moved to third division Göztepe Imir . With this club he finished the third division season 2010/11 as champion of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig.

After the rise with Göztepe, Kahya moved on to third division club Yeni Malatyaspor . Also with this club he was third division season 2014/15 champion and rose to the TFF 1st Lig. In the summer of 2016 he moved to the league rivals Büyükşehir Gaziantepspor and in the summer of 2017 to the third division club Kahramanmaraşspor .

National team

Kahya was appointed to the squad of the Olympic selection of Turkey as part of the Mediterranean Games in 2005 and was used in all five games of this tournament. He and his team made it to the final, losing to host Spain and becoming a silver medalist.
