Ramon Mabillard

Ramon Olivier Mabillard (born June 18, 1972 in Basel ) is a Swiss lawyer , attorney , notary and professor at the University of Friborg (Switzerland) .

Life

Mabillard studied at the University of Basel , where he graduated in 1996 with a licentiate . He then passed the bar exam in the canton of Basel-Stadt in 1999 . In 2004 he received his doctorate from the University of Friborg (Switzerland) . In the same year Mabillard obtained an LL.M. from Columbia University . In 2007 he was granted a notary's license in the Canton of Basel-Stadt. In 2015 he completed his habilitation at the University of Freiburg and has been a full professor at the chair for Procedures and Fundamentals of Law at this university since 2016 . He also has a teaching position at the University Distance Learning Institute Switzerland and continues to work as a lawyer and notary in Basel.

Mabillard is a judge at the appellate court of Basel-Stadt and clerk at the administrative court of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel. He is also a member of the notarial examination commission of the canton of Friborg .
