The album received mixed reviews.

When e-zine Laut.de the album received four out of five stars. The reviewer Jan Ehrhardt writes that " the step from deep and melancholic music to powerful battlerap was certainly daring ", but Errdeka a " 'rapunderdog' [...] certainly not remains ". Because the MC from the Bavarian province hits " the bars so skillfully on the beat and flows so smoothly ".

Theresa Janda from the hip-hop magazine rap.de judges that “ the texts are often exaggerated ”, but “ eRRdeKa still remains authentic ”. You can literally feel “ how excited the Augsburg man was for his second album and you are carried away by its energy. "

The editor of the hip-hop portal rappers.in does not share this assessment and sums up that it is a record that “ tries incredibly desperately to be something it just isn't: underground. He goes on to say that it is “ a well-produced complete work ”, but that “ this concept will not work in the long run ”.

In the review of Backspin Hip Hop Magazine it was compared to his previous album, but no increase was seen. Because " cool rapped songs and strong beats alone are not enough to look really good compared to the content-wise very strong and well-produced" paradise ". "

The editor Sven Aumiller of the online magazine MZEE.com also criticizes the fact that "Rapunderdog" "may seem casual, but in places it is simply stretched and far too rarely appears on point." On the other hand, the rapper's unique style is praised.
