Rashid Ahmad Ludhianvi

Mufti Rashid Ahmad Ludhianvi (born September 26, 1922 , † February 19, 2002 in Karachi , Pakistan ) was a great ulema . He is the founder of the Al Rashid Trust . He was the head of the House of Appraisal and Guidance ( Dār al-iftā 'wa-l-irshād ) in Karachi, Pakistan.

Rashid Ahmad is the author of the extensive Ahsan al-fatawa ( احسن الفتاوى/ Aḥsan al-fatāvá), a fatawa collection in Urdu .
