Neuried town hall

The Old Town Hall Neuried was from 1960 to 2019 the seat of the municipal council of the Upper Bavarian community Neuried in the district of Munich . The building is registered as a monument in the Bavarian List of Monuments .

history

The building was built in 1912/13 according to plans by the architect Fraaß from Munich. At first it served as a school building, and since 1960 as the town hall . After the move of the town hall in 2019 to a new building at Hainbuchenring 9, the building department was housed in the old town hall.

description

The town hall is located in the center of Neuried at Planegger Straße 2. It is a single-storey building with a floor plan of around 25 × 12 meters and a hipped roof . On the street side there is a dwelling with a flat, elliptical gable .
