Ratschyn ( Ukrainian Рачин ; Russian Рачин Ratschin , Polish Raczyn ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Rivne with about 1,800 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1545, is located on the outskirts of the city of Dubno in Dubno district .
On October 21, 2016, the village became part of the newly founded rural community of Tarakaniw ( Тараканівська сільська громада Tarakaniwska silska hromada ), until then the village had formed the district council of the same name .
The village is located on the bank of the Lypka ( Липка ), a 12 km long right tributary of the Ikwa , 4 km east of the Dubno district center and 42 km southwest of the Rivne Oblast center .
Territorial road T-18-01 runs through the village .
