The rough rock flower ( Draba aspera ) is a representative of the rock flower ( Draba ) widespread from the Pyrenees to the Balkan Peninsula .
features
The Rough Felsenblümchen is a perennial , herbaceous plant . It reaches heights of 1 to 3 cm. The flower stalks have no leaves and are covered with star hair. The leaves are in dense, spherical rosettes and are a maximum of 1.2 mm wide.
The flowers are in little-flowered clusters . The petals are 3 mm long and bright yellow. The stamens are the same length as the petals. Flowering time is June and July, pollination is carried out by insects or self-pollination .
The pod-fruit is puffed up, 6 mm long, and densely covered with star hair. The stylus is mm long for fruit 3-4.
Occurrence
The rough rock flower occurs in the Pyrenees , Italy and the Balkan Peninsula. Here the area extends in the north to Slovenia and reaches the Carinthian area with the Petzen .
It grows in rock crevices and in rock debris at the alpine altitude .
