Raul Barbo (born February 12, 2000 ) is a Spanish ice hockey goalkeeper who joined the Ontario Hockey Academy in the Prep School Hockey Federation in 2018.
Career
Raul Barbo began his career as an ice hockey player with CH Boadilla , for whose first team he made his debut in the Spanish Super League in the 2016/17 season . After a year with league competitor Majadahonda HC , he moved to the Ontario Hockey Academy in Canada in 2018, with their U18 team in the Prep School Hockey Federation.
International
For Spain, Barbo took part in the junior division of the 2016 U18 World Championships , but when he was not used, 2017 and 2018 , when he was voted the best defender of the tournament and the best player on his team, and the 2017 U20 World Championships when he again did not play, and in 2018 , when he was also voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament with the lowest counter goal and the second best catch rate after the Croatian Vito Nikolić , he participated in Division II.
In the senior division, he was in the Spanish squad for the first time at the 2017 World Cup in Division II . Also in 2018 he played in Division II.
