Raul Silva Silva

Raul Silva Silva (born January 31, 1911 in Santiago de Chile , † November 20, 1994 ) was a Chilean clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Rancagua .

Life

Raul Silva Silva received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Santiago de Chile on September 22, 1934 .

On November 23, 1963, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to titular bishop of Eudoxias and auxiliary bishop in Rancagua. The Archbishop of Santiago de Chile, Raúl Cardinal Silva Henríquez SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on December 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Valparaíso , Emilio Tagle Covarrubias , and the Bishop of Chillán , Eladio Vicuña Aránguiz .

Raul Silva Silva participated in the third and fourth session of the Second Vatican Council .
