Career

Youth and amateur football

Gaddis grew up in Indianapolis , Indiana, USA . There he attended North Central High School. After graduating there, he attended West Virginia University and also played on the university's soccer team, the West Virginia Mountaineers. During his student days he also played for Reading United in the USL Premier Development League .

Club career

Gaddis was chosen as the 16th pick in the second round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the Philadelphia Unions . He made his competitive debut on April 14, 2012 against the Columbus Crew . After he had worked his way up to the regulars of his team, he extended his contract with Philadelphia early until the end of the 2016 season. On September 26, it was announced that Gaddis was featured on the team-specific cover of the video game FIFA 15 .
