Kai Wagner (born February 15, 1997 in Geislingen an der Steige ) is a German football player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at SV Lonsee, SSV Ulm 1846 and FC Augsburg , he moved back to his homeland in Ulm in the summer of 2015. After one season he moved to the Regionalliga West for the second team of FC Schalke 04 . In the summer of 2017 he moved to the second division relegated Würzburger Kickers . It was there that he made his first professional appearance in the 3rd division when he played for Sebastian Schuppan on August 6, 2017, the 4th match day, in the 1: 2 away defeat against 1. FC Magdeburg in the 63rd minute of play was substituted on. For Würzburg he made 40 third division appearances in one and a half years.

Beginning in February 2019 moved Wagner to US MLS - Franchise Philadelphia Union .

Private

Wagner is in a relationship with the younger sister of Pierre-Michel Lasogga . He is expecting a child with her in 2020.
