Nikola Frljužec (born June 29, 1989 in Ptuj , SFR Yugoslavia , now Slovenia ) is a Croatian football player .
Career
society
Frljužec started his career at NK Varaždin . He made his debut for Varaždin in the 1st HNL in April 2008 when he came on as a substitute for Gordan Vuk on Matchday 31 of the 2007/08 season against Me Spieltagimurje Čakovec in the 62nd minute . His first goal in the top Croatian league he scored in May 2009 in the 3-2 defeat against NK Osijek .
In 2009 it was awarded to the NK Sloboda Varaždin for half a year . For the 2010/11 season he moved to NK Hrvatski dragovoljac . After nine league games for the club, he moved to NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica during the winter break of that season .
In summer 2011 he joined the NK Zagreb . After 22 league games for Zagreb, in which he scored two goals, he moved to Austria in January 2013 for the fifth-rate SV Lebring . With Lebring, he rose to the state league in 2014 .
For the 2015/16 season he moved to the regional division SC Kalsdorf . After one and a half seasons for Kalsdorf, he switched to league rivals SV Lafnitz during the winter break of the 2016/17 season . With Lafnitz he was promoted to the 2nd division in 2018 . During the winter break of the 2018/19 season he left Lafnitz and switched to the fifth-class 1st Simmeringer SC .
National team
Frljužec completed a game for the Croatian U-19 selection against Slovenia in September 2007 .
