Rebekka Knoll
Rebekka Knoll (* 1988 in Kassel ) is a German writer and journalist .
Life
Rebekka Knoll grew up in the Haldorf district of the Hessian community of Edermünde . After graduating from high school, she studied German and theater studies at the universities of Berlin, Bern and Erlangen . She completed her studies in Berlin in 2013 with a master's degree in theater studies.
During her studies in Erlangen , she was one of the founders of the writing workshop and group of authors Wortwerk Erlangen , wrote plays and her first two novels. In 2010 she became a young writer for the Bavarian Literature Foundation as part of the Festival Literatur Update Bayern . In 2013, Rebekka Knoll won the Kurd-Laßwitz scholarship of the city of Gotha, endowed with 5000 euros, for her first two novels, and from April 2013 she became city clerk for six months . During this time, she wrote her third novel Beloved Fear .
Until 2015 she was a trainee at the Mittelbayerische Medienfabrik in Regensburg . Since 2016 she has been working as an editor for the online editorial team of the HNA in Kassel.
