Red cafe

Red Café (real Jermaine Denny ) is an American rapper of Guyanese ancestry. He is signed to Akon 's label Konvict Muzik and P Diddy 's label Bad Boy Entertainment .

biography

Denny grew up in Brooklyn. The word "Red" in his stage name comes from his father, who was nicknamed "Red". In 1992 he was jailed for four years. After he was released, he became a member of the rap group Da Franchise , which was under contract with Violator Records.

In 2003 he was under contract with Arista Records . His song All Night Long became the soundtrack of the film Coach Carter in 2005 . However, he gained fame through his song Stick'm , which was heard on the game Grand Theft Auto IV. 2005 saw his first featuring with rapper Fabolous .

On March 17, 2011, the mixtape Above The Cloudz was released. In 2010 the single 'Im Ill' was released with Fabolous. It made it to number 74 on the US R&B charts. Akon can also be seen in the music video for the single.

The 2011 single Fly Together , which Red Café recorded with Rick Ross and Ryan Leslie, reached position 22 on the US rap charts. After Hells Kitchen , which he also published in 2012, the mixtape American Psycho was published that same year . Features are included from The Game , French Montana , Fabolous , Jeremih , T-Pain , Trey Songz, and 2 Chainz .

The single Let It Go (Dope Boy) , which was released digitally in December 2011, was released as a physical single in 2012.
