Reed Kessler (born July 9, 1994 ) is an American show jumper .

Life

Kessler comes from an equestrian family. She was trained for years by her godmother Katie Prudent and her husband Henri. Kessler has been training with Marcus Ehning in Germany since September 2013 and commutes between his stables in Borken and her home in Lexington.

At the age of 18, she rode for the United States as the youngest ever female show jumper at the 2012 London Olympics . In March 2013 she was in 45th place in the world rankings. She qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
