Cinuos-chel Reformed Church
The Reformed Church in Cinuos-chel in the Upper Engadine is a Protestant - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons .
History and equipment
Before the construction of today's village church, services were held in the church of St. Ulrich and Nikolaus . In 1615, before the outbreak of the Bündner turmoil , the church and its cemetery were built. From 1658 to 1834, Cinuos-chel had its own pastor with the approval of the Bündner Synod .
The narrow, steeply rising tower with a pointed helmet over batting is striking and characterizing the village and landscape . The interior of the church is kept simple, the lower part is clad with pine wood. A pulpit without a sound cover closes on the left the choir , separated from the nave by a round arch , in the middle of which there is a baptismal table on which the Lord's Supper is also celebrated.
Church organization
Cinuos-chel forms a parish with S-chanf and a pastoral community with Zuoz . The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden runs Cinuos-chel as a sermon site within the Colloquium VII Engiadin'Ota-Bregaglia-Poschiavo-Sursès . Cinuos-chel is also part of the regional church organization structure Il Binsaun .
